In November, Sen. Barack Obama became the first black man elected to the Senate as a Democrat, but doesn't intend that historical first to be his only achievement.

I can't help but think that this guy is an islamic mole.

He's the typical star in the Dem party these days; he's against gay marriage, but for the judicial imposition of them, he's personally against abortion, but for a judiciary that prevents even the most reasonable restrictions on them, etc etc etc...
any Democratic Senator has large shoes to fill.

The last was Sen. Ed Brooke from Massachusetts. Served from 1967 to 1979, defeated for reelection by Paul Tsongas. He was the first black ever elected to the Senate by popular vote.

During his time in the Illinois Senate, when it became known that living, breathing babies who had managed to survive abortions were being killed outright, Barack Obama blocked legislation that would have ended the heinous practice.
Look for him to carry water for every radical leftist organization in Washington.
He will have perfect ratings with all of them. Watch.
He will be so liberal that Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, et al will fall to his right on the spectrum...
