I have a solution for cat's meowing and howling here. I send my fearless cat hunters out (Maggie the Welsch Corgi and Kelly the Siberian Husky). Neither has scored a kill, but they do chase them away quite well.

Yeah, well I'd have a Corgi and a Lab with the cats if I could have dogs here. These are two neutered strictly indoor cats who are usually pretty hip about keeping quiet at night.

They go bonkers before and during quakes.
