The night had several conservative-leaning skits, including one in which two African-American males refused to do any work on Martin Luther King day despite coming in for overtime. Ironically, when asked, they thought the "King" being honored was the one who was "beat up by white cops." (Rodney King).
A sketch prior to sign-off showed how the US dollar had sunk versus all other currencies in a rather insightful, educational way using talking currencies.
The writing on Saturday Night Live has been much better this season and much more balanced than before.

Between SNL, Simpsons, and Family Guy, I have gotten a week's worth of Pravda-indoctinatration already this week,
As the power of the "nightly news hour" diminishes, expect more propaganda in the "infotainmenet" shows.
