Agree, great show and wonderful memories resurrected, but I wish it were longer.
No matter how many times they count, Bush always wins!
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent caricature.
Loved the show!..Brit just socked the MSM in the eye with this! Go W! Four More Years!
Now we get to listen the Jerry Rivers garbage!
I heard about 'em. Honestly I didn't believe them because I refused to believe the polls all along. When someone would say they thought he was goingto loose I would get a little skeered, but basically I figured when people got off work things would even out. Plus, once the polls closed, W kept racking up the electoral votes and Kerry never got close. I know that can be misleading, but with Florida going well... I just wasn't that worried.
Boston Legal with DENNY CRANE!!!
I will get to watch this later.....anticipation might kill me though! : )
I was a poll challenger in Michigan. When I went to drop off my stuff at the Republican HQs the faces couldn't have been longer so I went straight home rather than to the victory party. By the time I got settled they were beginning to discover the truth about the exit polls. I will always be thankful that I didn't know and I will always resent that the President was again robbed of an election night victory speech.
And no matter what they try to do. I have called Boxer's office to urge her to help out Rossi in WA. I told her staff that I KNEW she is very concerned about fair elections because I saw her crying on t.v.
This is why bin Laden fears GWB. He never knows what he'll do next.
Rivera's voice ruined an otherwise wonderful evening. Not sure I'm up to the Golden Globes either.
ROFLMAO.........that's too funny!
The report referred to was the one when Carl Cameron actually broke the story of Bush's DUI two days before election in 2000.
Instead of being mad at Carl for going on TV with story, he went up to Carl after the TV report and put his hand on his shoulder and told him that it was a "good report". This could have been the "end" to his chance to be president, and Bush had the integrity not to hold it personally against Carl Cameron.
Just checked in to F/R, saw this thread, went to last, saw your post, and you already said what I felt. What a great show that was. Brit was great, I snivelled a few times during the show, but the part I enjoyed the most, was jumping out of my chair along with the soldiers when W showed up in Baghdad for Thanksgiving!! The joy flooded through the TV tube.. :)
Yes, OBL doesn't know what W's going to do next...but he does KNOW that W will do SOMETHING! : )
They aren't perfect, and sometimes they go a bit lefty for awhile, but it is only natural when you are really trying to be fair and balanced that sometimes you overcompensate without realizing it until you get 1000 e-mails a day for a month, more than the usual number of "you guys are going lefty" e-mails they no doubt get all the time by the folks that are never satisifed, which makes it is hard to judge when viewers as a whole do sense such a real shift (probably why when most start to notice it, it takes them a long time to fix it).
I sometimes have to catch myself sometimes to make sure I don't give too much of the lefty opinion in my writing in my attempt to be balanced. I am pretty sure that is what happens at Fox sometimes.
