What *exactly* am I supposed to gain by visiting that website? Is there a specific article there somewhere that you recommend?

Remember what you hear in english will be much different from what you hear in Arabic

Nuances can be lost in any translation, yes. But I reject the idea that an English translation means something 180 degrees opposite of the original Arabic text. As in 'smiting infidel throats' in English means 'hugging your neighbor' in the original Arabic. I trust that you are not trying to say something so absurd. Please correct me if that is, indeed, what you mean.

Sorry, my post was not very clear.

MEMRI is a resouce for research. I have found it very useful in the past.

The site came to my attention when I read that Arafat used to make one speach in English and one that was completely different in Arabic. This is not lost in translation this is an effort to keep the left on their side while firing up the Arab street.

I think what he means is that muslims frequently put up a "religion of peace" front when speaking in English, and reveal their true "death cult" colors when speaking in Arabic.
