Looks like the trial lawyers managed to buy a Democrat while they were on sale cheap.

George Washington was the first President of the first nation founded on the principle of government of the people by the people and for the people. All legitimate government is based on the consent of the governed. Fair elections are at the very heart of ascertaining and signifying that consent. Allowing King County's flawed elections office to reverse the winner of two prior counts is an insult to the whole idea of fair elections.

The State's public employee's unions are the single largest contributor to Christine's efforts since Election Day. Union employees run King County's elections office. In Washington State we now have two political parties, one that represents the government and one that represents the citizens. The government party has now sanctioned the handiwork of their comrades in King County; handiwork that mysteriously resulted in hundreds of ballots for which no real voters can be found, handiwork that reversed the outcome of two prior vote counts and resulted in the government party's candidate proclaiming victory.

Christine declares our election system to be a model of how "democracy" should work. Democracy is not the right term for government of the government by the government and for the government. Tyranny would be the correct term for a system were the citizens role is limited to paying the taxes that support the lavish lifestyle of their rulers.

And there's no reason to worry that Gregoire owes these groups...

Unbelievable! Does State Democratic Party Chairman Paul Berendt really think we're going to swallow this bilge?

Of course, it would be more accurate to say the Gregoire is owned by these groups. They have shown the world how to simultaneously buy and steal an election.

This is the evil junta behind the coup d'etat in Washington State, a place where democracy and free elections are urinated on by democrat party thugs.

We saw more democracy in the Ukraine than in Washington. The only thing missing was the legitimate Governor Rossi being poisoned with dioxin. But then again, the poisoned Ukrainian dude (and demcracy) prevailed.

Oh, no! Washington state's GOP should go nine-nine-nine on this nonsense. More total votes than total number of voters, recount until you win, special interest groups financing this sham, etc. Washington's voters should not accept this blatant fraud.

"On the day she made her announcement and on the following day, the party received about $700,000 in its state
account."
*****

Which is ALSO the day someone made a phone call about
knowing where a bunch of democratic ballots had been
squirreled away.

For whatever it's worth, I put everything I could find about this fraud, swindle, and sham here:

Rossi v. Gregoire: How Elections Are Stolen

It's a disgrace. When I lived on Vashon Island years ago, the political atmosphere in WA was more cussedly independent than anything else, but even then natives were fretting about the corruption being imported from refugees from more liberal states. It seems to have come to pass.

What is the RNC doing to help Rossi now? He should be showered with dollars to carry on the most important fight in America, the Presidential election aside, in this old gal's memory. $25,000 is a mere pittance! Come on, National - cough up!

Ooops! Misread something. But I hope the RNC continues to back Rossi in this outrageous miscarriage of election law, "big time"!

And it doesn't appear to bother the "natives" at all, does it?
