How are the roads out your way?

The Gorge should get pretty dicey.

Here in Skamania, we're getting frozen drizzle (very small hail pellets), which are being blown around by the winds. It's 26 degrees here.

We have about a quarter inch layer of ice covering most everything here in Oregon City. It was dry as a bone and 30 degrees when I took the dog for a walk last night at 10. Right now it is 28 degrees with light rain falling through the air that is freezing as it hits the ground. The street outside is just wet, just a few vehicles venturing out. The highway cams are showing very light traffic and cars spinning out on 205 just north of here. I-5 north of Wilsonville is closed to trucks. Basically just good day to stay home. Unsure if conditions will improve in the next 24 hours. The cold air pouring in from the Gorge appears to be winning the battle as the warmer moist air from the west tries to work its way into the valley. I have a feeling this sleet/freezing rain is going to be with us through the weekend.
