Strange, but I can remember things from 40 years ago in very intimate detail as if they had happened yesterday but very little recent stuff.
In '69, I was at Coronado where the inquiry was going on. Saw a lot of beat up and sad sailors from Pueblo. You got it right about the capture but electronics wasn't the big deal. Codeword material was compromised. All codewords were changed overnight once Pueblo was seized. That's memorable.

I'm not trying to be snarky but beware short term memory loss. Unless you've had it all of you life, short term memory loss is one of the early signs of Alzheimer's.
