"People in the liberal media, like Hersh, apparently are so distrustful of the Bush administration and so fearful of the "neocon" influence at the Pentagon that they are apparently willing to subordinate our national security interests to undermine this influence in the administration. ...
Yes, I said it: unpatriotic. If tipping off the enemy isn't unpatriotic can you tell me what is? And don't you dare tell me the public has a right to know."

Amen to your thoughts. Mine exactly. To often, journalist appear to believe they are above national security. Your statements pretty much delinate the whole situtation as it stands. Sadly, it is a ongoing practice, fostered by the set of "ideals" practiced and taught by the liberal educational system in the country. And it is not going to change any time soon. Our First Amendment rights are precious. But so sadly so many abuse the privileges. I have voice elsewhere that even in WWII we had some pretty goofy Army Press Corps. people who did not play by the rules of reporting during war. Things have simply gotten worse, or so it may seem. As other have shown in this post and elsewhere, General Sherman hit it on the nail way back in 1863 range. A free press obviously is a two edge sword.
