I noticed that Beazley has some hair missing, I guess mabe it could be baby fur coming off, I don't know. Only Kathy can answer that one.
Evrey breed including Scotties have a different texture to their coat as puppies. We commonly call it "puppy coat" It is softer and finer than what it will be as adult. Beazley has puppy coat. She will not gain the amount of coat Barney has until she grows up. And chances are it will not be as full as Barney's. The dog (male) normally carries a heavier coat then the bitch.
