Oh, please. Some of us actually know what he said. Acknowledging reactions to what he said does not amount to regretting what he said. He regrets the way it was reacted to. He said nothing wrong and he was bashed before for not saying he was sorry (which he still has not said and never will).

You are making a big deal out of a big nothing and you're not doing any of us any favors with your little temper tantrum.

Grow up.

Spare me. Bush must relearn that you never give your opponents an opening by backpedaling or being mealy mouthed. If he really thought his "dead or alive" statement was regrettable for the uproar it caused, he should have said so 3 years ago. He's just pandering now, kinda like poppa Bush's "kinder, gentler" BS.
