A person has to be a theist in order to believe in democracy as practiced in the United States. Atheists have a real hard time coming up with a convincing argument for human rights.
I believe in democracy as it's practiced in this republic, and yes indeed, I'm an atheist. Please, stick to telling folks what you believe. I'll take you as an authority on your own beliefs.
When you arrogantly set yourself up as a greater expert on what *I* believe, than I myself am, you just look like a colossal fool. I'm pretty damned sure I have a better handle on what I believe than you do.
