oral herpes
I don't see what the big deal is? That's a totally different animal than sexually contracted herpes. Lots of children get oral herpes from time to time. But, I'll remember to not to let my child wrestle.

The article is not clear. I am sure written by one of the intellectual superiors on the left.
I can see how HSV2 could spreads on a wrestling mat.
- Wrestler actively shedding HSV2 virus from genitals.
- Paper thin spandex wrestling suit.
- Shedding virus escapes porous fabric.
- Virus lives in warm moist environment from the sweat and body heat.
- Virus transfer to next warm sweaty body.
- Virus penetrates porous fabric.
It could transfer on the hands. Male athletes who have recently been face planted and had a few body parts temporarily relocated tend to do a lot of adjusting.
