EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota's Randy Moss was fined $10,000 Thursday by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct during the celebration of his fourth-quarter touchdown catch last week _ in which he pretended to pull down his pants and moon the Green Bay crowd.
Moss also briefly bumped the goalpost with his back end before hugging teammates in the end zone after that game-clinching score in the Vikings' 31-17 wild-card playoff game victory over the Packers.

Which was what exactly, other than a figment of Joe Buck's imagination? I watched the replay over several times and have no idea what this so called second act was.
Might have the same effect it did on Samson. LOL!
Hah! You got it!
I assume you're in MN, we have Green Bay season tickets to the Packer game. Although we weren't at the game, my brother in law was and saw the whole thing.
Are you serious?! If so, where can I find the story? (And, NO, I DON'T need the pictures! LOL)
And it wasn't just that it was the goalpost - it was the Packers logo on the padding that he used for his mock T.P.
Brew, maybe you have a handy link. I'll see what I can find. It's common knowledge here.
GO EAGLES!!!!
Here's the Milwaukee Journal's spin on it.
They are really downplaying it, but over 50k fans and relatives know what happened. This guy is a pig.
Are you and your brother-in-law mooning the players on the opposing team when they leave the stadium and get on the bus with the other Packer fans?
Hey, Moss is a child. The mooning was not anything to get excited about. He's done much worse and will do so again in the future, I am sure.
Farves 4 ints are probably what have you really upset. I thought the Vikings Defence (should be with a small "d") were going to get called for 12 men on the field the way Farve was passing.
I used to cover the NFL for the sports forum of a major ISP, and I was at MSG the year he was drafted. He has always been an ass.
Is that supposed to be an excuse?
Given the 'tradition' of packer fans mooning the bus of a losing team when they leave, I think Moss' antic is hilarious.
Underwear endorsements alone will be worth the Ten Grand...
No, I'm not that big of a fan, I am causal fan now. I was born here, it's stamped on your birth certificate..... Farve's interseptions have nothing to do with it, and frankly, I didn't watch the game. You know why? I don't want to see a bunch of thugs running around the field chasing a ball getting paid millions with barely an education, can't understand them when they speak, and we are supposed to roll out the red carpet for them. sorry, I'm not the only one losing interest either. It's just not the same game as even 10 years ago. My engineering degree is way more valuable to me than a bunch of guys running around earning millions they aren't worth. Again, it's not the mooning, it's wiping himself after on a goalpost, low class performance that's going to ruin football, likewise with the NBA. It happened, our tickets are near the goal posts where it happened, my brother in law saw it, clear as day.
Yes, it is, and Packer fans mooning a visiting team's bus isn't? Not saying I approve of Moss' actions; just that it needs to be put in context. If the city of Green bay or the Packer organization did not tolerate the crass and uncouth behavior of their fans, I doubt Moss would have behaved in the manner he did. Don't get me wrong, I think Moss is a jerk, but the behavior of the packer fans, which are condoned by the Packers is a mitigating factor.
When was the last time Brett Farve moon your fans?
