I was, and am, willing to respect Oprah Winfrey for her business acumen. Anyone who can get where she is from where she came from knows how to overcome adversity.

Adversity? because she is black- she is a victim. I don't call that adversity. I call that liberalism. No offense to poster, I just cannot stand Oprahs type of victimhood.

Perhaps I am misinformed. I was told (by my wife..:) that she came from a very disadvantaged background, very poor. I have no idea if that is true or not.

In any case, no respect left for her now.

No Oprah grew up poor and was raped when she was nine and got pregnant. You immediately assume adversity means blackness, how obervant you are/sarcasm
