Even when Favre went waaaaay past the line of scrimmage and blindly -- and stupidly -- flipped the ball into the end zone, all the announcers could talk about was how much fun Favre was having playing the game.
What a crock. They should have been talking about how it was a rookie-type mistake & ripped him for not lowering his head & trying to dive/push into the end zone. You know, like football players are supposed to do.
Favre *used* to play that way. No more. Now he's a chump who punches opposing players because he knows the refs won't penalize him.
If Randy Moss would have thrown that same punch everyone would be crying for his head.
Since it was Favre (and I do like Favre), the announcers just brushed off that horrible play. Having fun ?? How nice...
Hmmmm ---- why can't the announcers just say that Moss was "having fun" in the endzone ?? Isn't that about the same thing ?
