So ... is no one singing the Star Spangled Banner? Am I reading this correctly?

I wouldn't mind an Alicia Keys wardrobe malfunction.
To: kemathen7
I, too, am wondering if they'll have the Star Spangled Banner!

Heh. She doesn't need to take off her clothes, she's actually talented.

Good, I've always wondered what her right breast looked like.
To: Voss
Talent - seems so rare these days, unfortunately.

Um, no, I think this was a specific press release. I haven't heard yet who's singing the Star Spangled Banner.

Alicia Keys can *sing*. And I've heard she's a Christian?

Alicia Keyes is very talented, but I happen to think that Janet is talented, too. Janet is too unstable though after so many years of being in the industry.

Better enjoy the performances and commercials, because the game itself is very likely go down with such stinkers as 49ers-Broncos and Bears-Patriots.

Musically speaking, this sounds like trouble.

At other big events, they've sang both.

Ahhh, I didn't know that. See - I actually pay attention to the event and not the three ring circus going on around the event. Like halftime shows ;-)
To: ejdrapes
I think Keys is a freak. Does anyone remember what happened when she presented some award a while back with Cyndi Lauper. What a nightmare

"I'm very excited to be playing at the Super Bowl for the first time especially because I will be singing a song made famous by an artist I admire, miss and respect, Ray Charles," Gee, I love Ray's rendition of the song, but I don't believe that it was "made famous" by brother Ray. It was pretty "famous" before he sang it.
