Ted Kennedy should know a lot about disaster in Vietnam; it was a war started by his brother, and strategized by his brother's wonderful, "brilliant Harvard advisors" that messed it up and whom LBJ always regretted having kept in their jobs after he took office (McNamara, Rusk, Bundy).
