"Who we going to ban next ??"

Oh, good grief, he wasn't 'banned.' If you want your kid to listen to Kid Rock, go right down to the music store and buy a CD.

There are lots of entertainers who are conservatives that won't be performing.

While you may not agree with those who voiced their opinion that they didn't want Kid Rock performing at anything to do with the inaugural, claiming he is 'banned' is just a bit over the top

Actually he was BANNED. He had been invited already. It was announced.

He was summarily axed. Not for what he was going to perform but what he has in his back catalog and might've done in his past.

Nothing illegal, mind you. Just something that didn't measure up for the prudes.

Where's the outrage over Macy Gray who butchered the national anthem in her home town? She's supposed to perform at the inauguration as well. At least in her case, she's shown she has no respect for national institutions and thus has no reason to perform at this civil ceremony.
