If they can't get insurance, how did they buy their homes? Surely no bank would lend them money if they couldn't get insurance?
I think the county thought that people wouldnt be able to sell after the 1995 landslided....but some places have changed hands.
They dont need insurance to buy a home..I mean, its not even standard to get landslide insurance apperantly.
