I was a soldier for 4 years, probably more then most of you here will ever know about the military and I joined when Desert Shield was under way and got to Panama the day Desert Storm started, so I didn't join when it was safe to be a solider. I saw 10+ years as an Army officer. There are many more here and some you are engaging in discussions now who have even more time. Gauge yourself.
I guess that's why there are no clear cut leaders like Patton that just stand out and make you want to follow them.
Patton, for all his excellent military tactics, was a prima donna. It takes far more to lead this nation and world. President Bush has clearly defined our country's goals in the WOT far better than a generation. Its easy to armchair quarterback. Dig in and know him better before you diss him.

What did you do, I was a grunt, except for the first two years I worked in a motor pool, but the last two years I trained my butt off as a grunt.
I already know his immigration policies and I don't like them and neither do a lot of people. And I'm pointing out the things I don't like.
