Some Barney photos from June 2004

Barney Bush waits for President Bush in the Oval Office; June 2004

With The Boss

President George W. Bush, Vice President Cheney and members of his staff watch Barney play with a horseshoe outside the Oval Office.

Thinking about yesterday's Presidential portrait ceremony, Barney decides to practice standing still for his own portrait (scheduled for 2009).

Barney takes a morning walk on the beach in Sea Island, Ga.

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder consults Barney during a meeting with President Bush on Sea Island, Ga.

In no particular hurry to attend an important meeting in the Rose Garden, Barney plods his way toward the door held open by the ever-patient White House Horticulturist Dale Haney.

Barney reserves some prime real estate while the President is briefed prior to a meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary in the Oval Office

Determined to be the first dog to medal in the Men's 400 meter hurdles, Barney relentlessly trains for the 2004 games in Athens during his morning workout on the South Lawn of the White House.

It's a good thing the little guy now has a pal!

Those are beautiful, but appear to be a little low-cut and racy for daughter's of the president.

Funny, but by looking at the pictures for Jenna and Barbara it would seem they're reversed. By that I mean I'd think Jenna would look better in the blue and Barbara better in the green. The green looks much more sophisticated to me and therefore I think it'd look better on Barbara. The blue is softer in appearance with the ruffles and IMO would be better on Barbara---plus blonds usually look great in blue.

Thanks for posting all of these pics, Gretchen! Interesting first look at the sketches of Laura's, Barbara's and Jenna's gowns...
