Of course, reading between the lines; at a tax rate of 50% on $170,000, $22000 is a yearly payment of $11,000.

I don't know about Canada, but in the United States Child Support is NOT tax deductible.

Yes, you are correct...in Canada, child support was deductable until recently, when some exwife appealed, and henceforth child support, is not/not deductable, however exwife support is deductable....still doesn't alter,the male-hate that is persuasive in Canada.....
