I'm not sure how seriously anyone though Condit killed her. Seemed to me the consensus was simply he is a scummy guy who deserved whatever treatment he got. I don't think he has suffered too terribly.
OTOH, I am really tired of facts being 'conveniently' omitted from the news.

The Democratic Leadership was out to get him, I truly believe that.
He was a Democrat who sided with the Republican party on allot of issues. So, they got rid of him.
