Total failure. Apple wants to take on Wal-Mart? Well, that's ok, I shorted Apple today.

i think the target is people who like ipods. Its about the same price and works with existing pc components. I expect it to sell really well. It will probably be the best selling computer in 2005. Expect TONS of kids to want this. It helps that it looks really sleek and "cool"

Probably a bad move. I've never been a Mac man but this thing will sell like popcorn.

Mistake, I'm very tempted. In fact, if I hadn't just plopped down a good chunk of change on a Canon 20D SLR, I'd go get one. I already have a KVM switch so the basic I/O devices aren't needed, and given the apparent size of it, it ain't gonna take up a lot of real estate.

Apple's stock almost ALWAYS takes a dive the day of a keynote in which new harware is released. The only time in the last couple of years where the stock didn't drop was when the iPod mini was released.

I bet you thought a 5Gig MP3 player for $399 was going ot be a total failure as well.

Seems that AAPL was up at 74 at one point today. I hope you have some a nice nest egg to pay for shorting Apple.
