Not too late to get tickets!
Hope to see you there!!
P.S. If you can't go to the ball, but would like to help someone else get there, please donate to our general ball fund. Donations are being accepted to help cover the costs of inviting honored guests such as wounded members of our armed forces recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital and others. We've already received enough in donations to get at least a dozen or more soldiers and guests to the ball and to offer discounts to several others. We'd like to invite as many as we possibly can.

Bump!
Also, if you are one of the ones who ordered tickets by mail-in check and have not yet sent in your check, please let me know by FReepmail or email. It's probably too late now for your check to arrive in Fresno as Saturday is the last day we can pick up at the PO Box. Let us know if you're still planning on attending the ball, and bring your check or credit card to the door. We will honor your order price.
Thanks!
Hope to see you there!

My wife and I are sorry we will have to miss the best ball in town. We are volunteers on the Inaugural Committee and are assigned to work at one of the crowded "official" ones. By the way, not only do those have cash bars, but I've been told that they aren't even serving food!
To: Jim Robinson
Hey Jim. Hubby and I are coming to the Ball. We just bought our tickets. It'll be nice seeing you again.

Attended in 2001. Sadly (sort of) Mrs. jimfree has scored tix for an official ball. Will be going to that this year. Have fun at the Freeper ball!

The DC Convention Center is only a few blocks from the Washington Plaza... after the W2 ball ends, many folks will probably do as they did in 2001, and head out into the lobby and bar area (where we can smoke) to continue socializing. Think about stopping by afterwards, if you and your wife aren't exhausted from working at the official ball.
P.S. Thanks to you and your wife, for being volunteers with the PIC. I know you guys are working very long hours.

Jim, Look forward to seeing you there!

I'm certain that all of you in the DC Chapter have been working much harder than I have... between the preparations for the Freeper Ball, securing permits for the parade, and everything else you're doing. I'm always impressed by your energy and dedication.
There are many PIC volunteers who have been working with little sleep over the past few weeks. My "real" job has kept me from getting that involved.
We may try to stop by the Washington Plaza afterwards, but we won't be certain of our exact schedule and duties until this Saturday.
