This whole matter of things being sent around the internet, attributed to celebrities, or retired military figures, is getting complicated. It is testing reality and credibility themselves.

For example: Since I don't know General Hawley, and can't check with him directly, I have no way of knowing if the correction that you posted is any more authentic than the one which I posted earlier.

I don't doubt that you are quite honest and sincere. So was I, when I took it from an email sent to me by a thoroughly reputable veteran. However, from this point on, I'm definitely not going to post anything from an email which purports to be written by a famous person, or a distinguished member of our military, active or retired.

I think that's the best policy to follow, and I know that it is Jim Robinson's policy for FReepers.

So, unless I can verify and then confirm a piece of writing as having come from such an author, I'm not going to put anything up again of this nature. Thanks anyway! I have already sent an email to the person who sent the piece to me, advising him of your post, and asking that he send it along to whomever sent it to him.

I thought he just started another 527 (or something similar) with a bunch of Democrats this week. I guess they can't help but show their anti-American hatred while trying to pretend to be patriotic Americans.

This proves that all his causes like legalizing dope is BS, the only thing he cares about is taking the US down. And he's Jooish to boot.

I believe Jim Robinson and his group of moderators are very quick on the take when they view something which may not ring true.
