i still haven't gotten over the republican party's failure to prevent her from obtaining a senatorial office. in my view this should never have happened.

first there was the oh-so-high-one rudi guiliani, whom it was said could have the u.s. senate seat, just for running.

but for some reason he didn't run. the excuse given was that he had prostrate cancer. but hundreds of thousands of men get prostrate cancer and women get breast cancer, they deal with it, and go back to work.

then there was the brilliant rick lazio who insulted her highness on a televised debate.

hillary in 2008? there's nothing to stop the clintons. the republicans are incompetent when it comes to the clintons.

Republicans may not stop the Hildabest, but Divine intervention can.

You appear to have seen a different debate between Lazio and her thighness than I did. Lazio cornered her on an issue she had brought into the campaign, and the media shills aided and abetted the Wicked Witch from the Midwest in slamming him for 'wielding a pen like a sword' or some such drivel.

I wish it were just incompetence..........the truth is, many are compromised, and the clinton mob has the files to prove it.

Have you ever known a person stricken with prostate cancer? For that matter, have you ever seen how people deal with hearing the word "cancer" to describe their illness? For many people, it's like hearing your death sentance. Something as frivolous as running for public office fades into insignificance when compared to running to save your own life. Your insinuation that Gulianni was some kind of pansy to "blame" his withdrawal from the campaign on his illness is condescending and ignorant.

We should be thankful that he overcame his illness, and remains a possible candidate for some elected office in the future.

By the way, in case you've forgotten, when Gulianni learned about his cancer, he DID "go back to work", as you lament. His went right back to city hall and continued his job as MAYOR of the city. He did not QUIT his job as U. S. Senator. He never was one.
