But never fear. No sooner was Mapes' exit announced than the independent TV production community was abuzz with rumors that the PBS-funded documentary show "Frontline," which recently completed an anti-Bush screed on his religious faith and the formation of faith-based initiatives within federal agencies, was looking to bring Mapes on for special projects FYI
Also .. though they mention Lochart's phone calls
The failed to also mention Max Clelland cell phone calls

Those drafts would be interesting to review, if only to see the evolution of positions the pair took on the forged documents, as well as the varying stories presented by the four CBS employees identified by Thornburgh and Boccardi as the key individuals in the scandal. Duh! Why do you think they were destroyed?

The coverup is always worse than the crime according to the left.
Watergate was a third rate burglary but the coverup brought Nixon down according to the left.
This time the left says there was no crime, only sloppy journalism.
Balderdash, there is both crime and coverup and CBS and Captain Dan The News Man are right in the middle of both.

PBS-funded documentary show, was looking to bring Mapes on for special projects. This is when you tell congress to end PBS funding or reduce it till they starve.
