Hanity today was right on in that the report totally ignored the political bias aspect and focused on sloppy journalism. Which if you investigate the tagline I am using will show how ironic this whole TANG forged document flap is. Dan Rather has lectured journalists on correct procedure regarding stories (see tag line) and yet when cornered he said that CBS had done everything right and stood by the Story. He knew better and lied to the public destroying his credibility to try to take down George W Bush.

I like how the report credited the perfect journalistic storm as including the fact that their seasoned anchor backed the story and that is why CBS goofed.

I think we all knew from the start that this "blue ribbon committee" was going to cop to a lesser plea for Danny. The only thing that was "sloppy" were those pathetic forgeries.
