You are just NOW realizing that Sean Hannity is just an overpaid fratboy and the single worst interviewer in all of Talk radio/TV? He got where he is by regurgitating cliff-notes conservatism, but now is out of cue cards, so his inner moron is all he has left.
Even on his best day Hannity is little more than a milquetoast repeat of Rush.
And now we have Hannity sucking up to Newt. Who is next...Whitman and all the other Republican bashers of the Bush administration?
" You mean he might not be able to book Amber Frey for his radio show " ON the rare occasion I had heard some of that interview. Gawd! Watching paint dry would've been more interesting. I don't know why but Hannitys voice simply annoys me so I never listen to his show. Sorry, but hey...
I keep wondering when Laura Ingraham is going to get the fame and money she deserves and Hannity is holding hostage.
Wrong...
We, the listener, are who he should be concerned about doing a good interview.
He has change his ways and been listening to his press, just like most talk show hosts.
I don't trust Newt further than I can throw him, but he does have a knack for saying the right thing most of the time. He is too much of a globalist for my tastes, but if the choice right now were between Newt and Jeb, I'd vote Newt. I don't like dynasties on the right any more than I do on the left.
Bob Scheiffer and President Bush are longtime buddies, and Bush appointed Scheiffer's brother--a former business partner--ambassador to Australia, so Hannity is partly sucking up to the President when he sucks up to Scheiffer.
I hear you, except for the "NOW" part.
;-)
I am confused about Newt right now, myself---
I thought he was a fan of Bush, and now they say the book he has written slams Bush---we'll see.
The only thing that is really informative (in a bad way) on Hannity's radio show is the "man on the street Thursday"--last week they were asking an NYU student (girl) who the President, Vice President were---she didn't know--then they asked here what a tsunami was--she said a sushi dish!!!! They had two or three more like that.
And now we know why Kerry got so many votes!!!!!
You really think so?
Reading more into it then there is?
"Hannity gets ratings the old-fashioned way."
Yup: Shallowness and shameless pandering, with occasional sex tossed in.
So that's where Boortz gets his radio tips from. He never passes up an opportunity to throw penis topics into every show. Last weeek Boortz told a listener to sex it up or they'd lose listeners. Frankly, he sounds like a man who hasn't gotten any action in a loooooong time.
LOL :P~
Man, do I agree with everything you said! I used to watch H&C, then listen to Hannity on radio. I'm so sick of his namedropping, endless self promotion and repetition of the same crap everyone else is saying. I quit watching and listening. When I heard he had Amber Frey on I knew I'd made the right decision.
Starting to sound like a Monica party....
Not good enough!
Good answer!!!!
Very well put...
I find myself listening to Sean less and less. I like Rush's style better, probably because he doesn't stand on the shoulders of others like Hannity frequently does in my opinion.
What I really don't get is how sometimes Hannity gets all confrontational and other times does a softie on guests, apparently regardless of their affiliation. I think it weakens the show, which may explain why he has less listeners. Like a whole slew of Conservative commentators, he is a man I would really like to listen to, only I get choked up. He isn't as bad as O'Reilly though, who just grates on me.
Did he write a book? Did you know that Sean wrote a book?
I don't listen to Hannity anymore. He's a Rush parrot. And I doubt if he even graduated from grade school. The only part of his show that is entertaining is when Ollie or Mark Levin call in, or host the show.
"Used to be a hugh Hannity fan"
What other TV talkshow host is better? O'rielly? Hannity's the only one out there that I regularly find myself in agreement with. It doesn't always have to be attack, attack, attack.
I'm with you on that; with one exception. Hannity has had Cheney and Rummy on his show.
Sean has become a phoney. He wears two Cross pens in his suit jacket, and holds a 19 cent Bic pen in his hand "making notes".
I've seen this for years working on dozens of projects. IBMers famous for this.
