Water is wet.
The Pope is Catholic.
Bears poop in the woods.
Wow. They really know how to come up with those catchy chants, don't they?
Organizers said the timing of the parley was not linked to the election of Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) as Yasser Arafat's successor. Speakers refrained from making any reference to the election, pointing out the event, approved by the university administration, had been planned long before the vote.
Right. So Abu Mazen and other cleanshaven terrorists in designer suits can try to keep straight faces as they claim to have nothing to do with that "fringe group."
Hasan Yousef, the moderate Hamas leader
LOL! That's like referring to UBL as the moderate Qaeda leader.
Yousef said Hamas did not rule out the possibility of a truce with Israel. "Hamas has in the past offered many gestures and a hudna (temporary truce) to Israel, but the response has always been more escalation and assassinations," he added.
That's because the Israelis aren't as stupid as the islamofascists wish they were. The Israelis know that a "hudna" is nothing more than a respite in order to regroup and re-arm.
The lesson that hasn't yet been learned is that elections should be the LAST piece of the puzzle. Things like real freedom of speech, a free press, freedom of religion and teaching children not to aspire to "martyrdom" all have to come first, as does overhauling their society.
That's why this "election" was as meaningful as the ones in which Saddam won with 101% of the vote.
And I call for 1,000 B2 strikes on Palestine!
I suspect in the upcoming meeting with Abbas that President Bush will be doing 90% of the talking.
Has there been an official derogatory name assigned to Abbas yet? I submit Anass for consideration.
Hamas talking like a real muslim- even when they are lost they still convinced that they win.
Hamas is already 85% dead. His leaders are dead and those who still alive, spend their time on running away of the IDF instead of planning terror attacks. Their money acounts in the USA and in most of Europe are closed, their utilities- the terror factories are destroyed.
IDF won, Hamas lost. DEAL with it Hamas!
Well, I assume this aint weird- after all Israel won the Yom Kippur War of 1973- the combined forces of Syria, Jordan and Egypt were deafeated, forces the size of the ENTIRE NATO. However, those ididots are convinced that they won the war, just because in the first few days they were able to move forward to the land Israel took control over in 1967. They are convinced that they are the winners, despite of the fact that they were wiped out again, so its not surprising that Hamas is convinced that it still can make terror attacks- Arabs remain Arabs.
Like Syria, Jordan and Egypt, Hamas can continue with the thoughts of the victory and the thoughts that it still can fight, but those are only thoughts.
Great job IDF!
Give the innocent 24 hours to flee, seal the area, and kill every living thing in Gaza. This BS has gone on for far too long.

ABASSturd
Make that ABBASturd.
Same ole Islamikazes howling and baying. I swear that some of them over there would call for Jihad and suicide bombing "martyrs" if a butterfly sneezes.
President Bush never said this would be easy.....
And yet to the UN buffoons the a long metal fence is intolerable and the root of evil....
