***The summit is part of a statewide push by Democrats, "Take Back Texas," which targets "races that will give us the best chance to become the majority party by 2010 and regain influence in the redistricting effort," according to the party's Web site.
"We're talking about a sheriff's race here or a tax collector's race there," he said. "But those are significant. I think what we're seeing is that Republicans are reaching a limit in the votes they can attract. We can continue to reach out to independents, register more Democrats, and I think we're going to start winning more elections." ***
Just like the libs. Nevermind the will of the people, so long as they can get themselves elected. Dems don't do politics, they only play the politics of politics. Wrong motivation.
No, no, no. It was worse!! You need to be thinking "Canada, eh?"
"But those are significant. I think what we're seeing is that Republicans are reaching a limit in the votes they can attract. "
I think the Rats meant to put Democrats instead of Republicans in the above statement.
Often, mentally ill groups project their failings on to others.
East Texas Ping!
I thought all the Texas Democrats had moved to Oklahoma or New Mexico.
Whatever these bozos are drink, give me some. It must be good hooch.
BWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
They don't have big enough ....... oh well, whatever!
ping! to my honey.
Once I finally stopped laughing, it occurred to me that the Dims could win a few scattered races here and there, especially once the GOP becomes entrenched, like the Dims once were, and loses sight of the guiding principles that brought us to this point.
Might be instructive to re-read the Texas GOP Platform, and compare it to the behavior of many of our elected representatives.
Cut 'N Shoot Texas..... made famous such as it is/was by Roy Harris... Is he still in the area?
I have heard reports (and not yet researched it) that when Texas was admitted to the Union, that a clause was written in allowing the state to split into as many as five smaller states, if the need arose. If true, Republicans should start a campaign to split Texas into multiple states. They could let Tom Delay draw the lines. How does 6 new Republican Senators or a Senate majority of 62-46 or 64-44 sound?
All those boobs can take is a backseat.
WHATEVER!!! I say we give NOT-AN-INCH!!! lol
Apparently so, I saw an article where he was honored for something and appeared in Conroe.
I would like to say that was taught here in grade school in the early sixties but I cannot remember for sure. It should be easily verifiable on the net...
