No, I don't think it's off to want to credit the right individuals. Not off at all. If you look at the threads on this forum when the story first broke last September, the majority of Freepers were ecstatic about FR's role in this, ie credit. Everywhere you looked, you'd see a thread with "Free Republic Mentioned" in the title, in regards to a tv segment or an article.

I've heard the wrong credit being assigned by media that I like and trust such as Brit Hume, Fred Barnes, Sean Hannity etc. If FR is cited, only Buckhead is mentioned. Or worse, it's not mentioned at all, and Powerline gets full credit.

There's no shame in enjoying credit. It's only natural for people to feel that way. You don't. I get it.

just read my last post - i don't put much value on the words that come from main stream media in the first place - any "words of truth" from them ring hollow and will for a long time.
