We have a finite list of Conservative Governors who can win. Moderate Republicans DON'T WIN. After all, why would you get the imitation product when you can have the real (liberal thing)?

I feel that the GOP has learned only Gov's get elected President in the modern era, so we has a list constricted to Governors and former Governors. Here's a list of conservative Govs that can run:

Owens (CO)

Jeb Bush (FL)

Sanford (SC)

Pawlenty (MN)

Riley (AL)

Huckabee (AR)

Kempthorne (ID)

Perry (TX)

-- Only Jeb, Owens, Sanford, and Pawlenty are serious presidential candidates at this point. Perry has enemies in the TX GOP, but Huckabee's popular.

I think the real sleeper, however, is ID Gov. Kempthorne (photo).
