It's the "all women" numbers that concern me. Women elected Bill, twice.
With a complicit press who won't ask the hard questions, we're going to be in for a big fight. The press proved they can go an entire year without questioning a presidential candidate if they are a Democrat.
I don't think Kerry faced any difficult questioning once in an entire year.
The legacy media's power is broken. I wouldn't trust thumb-sucking Dick Morris' predictions three years early. Its a long time and anything can happen between now and 2008. Its too early to call Hillary a shoo-in.
Although I agree that the press will give Hillary a "free pass," that doesn't mean she will win. First off, Kerry got a free pass and lost so the mainstream media's power ain't what it used to be. Now there's Fox News, the internet, and enough non-liberal sources out there to help fight the tide of bias.
Second, we're still 4 years away. New figures may emerge-who knew much about John Kerry or John Edwards 4 years ago? Hillary will be a player, but she will likely have competition within her party. And there's no way to say who the GOP nominee will be, it's just too early.
"I don't think Kerry faced any difficult questioning once in an entire year."
I disagree. Kerry faced difficult questioning, to which he adroitly did not respond. I will concede however that most of the difficult question did not come from the press.
