Yep. I think she made the show. She is gone now and no one is saying why. Network says it was mutual and her publicist says it wasn't.
I liked her, too. If she's gone then who will Monk talk to--himself? His dead wife?

I don't know why they'd get rid of her. I haven't seen the show without her, but I'd be very surprised to find it improved by her absense.
