"I am sure we lost subscribers in the fall, given the intensity of emotions of this election and given the scrutiny of the media," said Chris Satullo, the editorial page editor. "We did our job rather forcefully in supporting Kerry, and that only raised the stakes." If they are calling folks .. they lost ALOT more subscribers then just from the election

(Does the distinguished Sen from VT wish to act as our treaty rep. for negotiations with Al Queda?)

I think we are living in a time when the Philadelphia Inquirer is less reputable than the National Enquirer.

The Libs still don't get it. This is very good for our side.

Good news BUMP!
I wish the Inquirer would just hurry up and die along with the rest of the socialist old media.

"If the people I call say, 'Yes, I was mad at your editorial,' then the next thing I say is, 'Would you like to come in and talk about it?' " Ms. Bennett said...what arrogance - sounds as though former readers are being challenged to "come in" and defend their rejection of the paper - Ms. Bennett should be reminded that the Inky also endorsed Clinton for president twice but in 1998 after his impeachment did an about face and called on him to resign, and asked why those who find the paper's endorsements objectionable should have to defend their views when in fact they're clearly more perceptive and intelligent than the Inquirer editors.......

Anne Gordon, the Inquirer's managing editor was communications director for the Colorado Democratic Party during Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign.
A newpaper's managing editor is responsible for assignments and placement of news stories. No bias there, right?
