Lets just be patient and not condem the Captain yet
There could be a lot of mitigating circumstances and the sand bar thing could be a way covering up what might have really happened.
Noticed that the "Peoples Paradise of China" has had subs in the area recently
Thing now is to pray that the ship gets back and pray for the injured crewmen.
Am sure the NAVY will sort things out.
Just let them do their job.

I agree! A "sandbar" or "pinnacle" could have been another sub. I still wonder about our sub that was damaged about the time the Kursk went down. I understand the Kursk went down because of on-board torpedo failure rather than a collision as originally claimed by Russia. Never heard any other news about our damaged sub though not that a landlubber would.
Gob Bless the S.F. crew and families of the injured and dead.

Lets just be patient and not condem the Captain yet There could be a lot of mitigating circumstances That probably won't matter. The captain has likely had his last command.
