HELL hath no fury like a Hollywood lesbian scorned. The former girlfriend of Ellen DeGeneres is considering legal action against both the comedian and her new lover, the Ally McBeal actress Portia de Rossi, in a case that could redraw the boundaries of romantic strife in America. Alexandra Hedison, 35, is said to have been shocked after 46-year-old DeGeneres asked her to leave the Los Angeles home they had shared for four years. De Rossi, 31, moved in before Christmas. Hedison is now taking advice from Trope and Trope, a Los Angeles law firm that has represented stars from Cary Grant to Jennifer Lopez. Its lawyers have shown how she could seek revenge and riches with a twin attack on the new couple.
DeGeneres met de Rossi on a photo-shoot last summer. At that point de Rossi, the ice-cool lawyer Nelle in Ally McBeal, was preparing to marry her girlfriend Francesca Gregorini, the stepdaughter of Ringo Starr. They broke up last month.
Legal sources say Hedison, a photographer, could file legal papers this spring, beginning with a palimony action against DeGeneres. But Hedison is also said to be considering suing de Rossi for alienation of affection, a legal stratagem dating back to frontier days when seducing a spouse was regarded as theft.
She would have to prove the seduction took place in those states which still recognise the law, like on holiday in Hawaii, said Richard Barry, of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. If she can do that, she could cause a lot of financial damage.
DeGeneres, meanwhile, has moved to crush speculation about tensions with her ex-lover. I still love and care tremendously for her and we are working together on the ending of our relationship on that level and intend to keep it private, she said in a statement.
You forgot the barf alert. :-(

Sounds like a good plot outline for a series.
Sounds like one for Gloria "I love the spotlight" Alred. Only a matter of time before she has used up the Amber Frey 15 minutes of fame and is on to the next "victim"
Yeah. And don't ask any of them about the promiscuity, anonymous sex, the fast and large turnover in lovers or any of the other embarrassing questions that, if answered honestly, reveal their chosen "sexual preferences" to be more fad than genetically inclined.
Great, that's all we need is a gay break up series.
As far as the DeGeneres topic goes, I guess she will be labeled the "manly" one, considering she will be paying out the alimony money. Equal "rights" does have it's pitfalls.
No wonder the Democrats support gay "marriage." Their lawyer contributors would be raking in the money like never before. The way the rich homosexuals carry on, someone would have a reason to cry "divorce" every ten seconds. This would be like Hollywood straight marriages/divorces times ten. I imagine a "divorce" between lesbians would be an especially good money-making opportunity for the lawyers. The lesbos would be fighting over every detail -- just getting them to agree who gets which Volvo would take 5 years.
Hey, she wants to be a man anyhow. Now she can find out that there's more than one way to be screwed by a woman.
Paging Jerry Springer...
Its a man baby...(sorry I couln't resist)
Yeah, because that sort of thing never happens among heterosexual couples.
Sounds like a candidate for one of Rush's "addadictomy" operations!
It is part of a continuing and relatively successful attempt to mainstrean the Vagitarian livestyle.
Nah, only gays do this sort of thing.
And guys with mullets.
Alimony has been defined as "the screwing you get for the screwing you got".
Fair is fair.
Fortunately, there's no film at 11.
Oh but there will be, just wait.
What are you suggesting? Hollywood lacks restraint and will film anything? Where'd you get such a nutty idea??? (grin)
Personally I don't see a whole lot of difference between this situation and most of the Hollywood straight relationships. None of them last very long, and they end in an ugly way.
