As a matter of sound business policy restaurants should have calorie counts available for the health food nuts that come into the restaurants. But it should be voluntary which ever restaurants don't have them available Will stop being patronized by the customers that are looking to start eating healthier and they will lose money and business until they comply with the wishes of their customers just like the free market always does things. But no way in hell should it be a federal law that every restaurant have them available or risk being should down by the FBI or whatever Gestapo agency gets assigned to police burger joints. This is still(barely)America after all

Sounds good to me. I try to patronize only restaurants that publicize calorie counts. I research the menus on the Web before eating. It's funny. A wallop of whipped cream is 24 calories at Denny's, but at Starbuck's it's like 250.
