I'll tell you one thing. The Travis County DA, Ronnie Earle, is investigating Speaker Delay for much less serious accusations than this.

The Dems wouldn't HAVE to act similarly, because the MSM would never accuse them of dirty political tricks. The MSM would be far too busy tearing the Republicans to shreds.
In fact, the Dems could MAKE UP something like this about a Republican, and not be accused of the dirty tricks Republicans are accused of for simply telling the truth.
