There are people who call caffeine a "drug", and (like the anti's) put that in the same catagory as heroine and alcohol addiction. (Hope you don't put sugar in that coffee either). I long ago threw up my hands and decided to live my life and stop listening to the din of the endless things that are "bad" for me.
As a matter of fact I drink it black and unsweetened even though I love sweets----just not sweet coffee.
