I thought so.

I knew the family of one of the kids. They were devastated when the Feds came in. But you gotta admit, it was funny. A water sprinkler would have been even better.

My points were:

1) She was not even assaulted, let alone battered.

2) Yet they go so far as to claim she was pushed into the van.

3) But the video shows that he didn't even *touch* her (and now I'll add "or move toward her as she backed away")

4) Ergo, they are misreporting the incident.

I hope that's clear enough. :-)

No reasonable person would fear bodily harm was intended from asking a question with a microphone in hand held in a non-threatening manner.

That's an opinion. I don't know if I agree or not (I frankly don't have enough interest to form an opinion).

hehehe...sorry. I am usually the one pointing that out to others. And I realize that my post above was perhaps not clear enough, but I was saying different things in the sentences.

I'm just trying to clarify in that last post I just made. :-)

The weatherman was telling us it was clear outside, when they pelted him with a waterballoon.

Now that's funny.

Laughs ..I like the part where one anchor says to the other.."What is it about the media they are trying to keep an eye on?" Innocent of any wrongdoing..first portraying the ridiculousness that anyone would even consider doing such a thing. Then hanging the term "prankster" to form the conclusion.

Yes, they CLAIM to be a non violent media watchdog group.. even had the use of hand gestures by the first anchor. I laughed as you could see Invisible Suit working his way to the reporter from the rear then was cut..then standing back behind her waving..And the bogus CLAIMS "may face prosecution" was a bit far fetched, yet vague enough to lead the viewer to interpret as fact when not. She's the one that slighlty laid her hand on the other guy (guess some people are just normally touchy-feely that way)..he was just holding a microphone.

When the media reported the NEWSBREAKERS asked representation by the ACLU [ satirical ] *like that was bound to happen*..I laughed. What was really funny is the CBS affiliate didn't have a clue to the ACLU remark..the seriousness in which this was played out had me laughing. At least this was better than the interrupted "hospital power outage scare" report they had slated for noon that day.

Wish I had save the automated response to my email. Laughed at that too! You would have to send one to get the full Jest of the reply.

I also have dial-up. I use FlashGet to download and keep reading FR while it manages the streams (it can use multiple streams for one file, so it speeds it up and can resume if your connection is cut.)

The resume is nice (if allowed from the download site), the multiple streams is nice (if allowed from the download site), but multiple streams of dialup can not exceed the max of 5.4 kb still in best case senerio and only really helps with more broadband connections.

Yes you can still search FR ect... while downloading, if you want to wait 5 minutes for a page to load, more if they have graphics on the thread.

Yes, I have had Flashget (even the paid version). GetRight did the same thing, but usually connected more reliablely to more sites than FG.

My two cents.

You're so smart, you figure it out. Film at 11.

Watching the Old media I had to wait for my news at 11, now it is not longer so with the miracle of cable, satellite and the New Media.. etc..a little late after the fact!!

No one pelted anyone with anything. Watch the videos and listen to the news reports presented here for your enjoyment..police probably were laughing too!

hehehe..I paid for GetRight but switched to FlashGet, since it was more reliable for me. I set the speed limit and then just pop it on when I want an FR page to load, then remove the limit.

Although theoretically there's not going to be a benefit on dialup, I find that a single stream download doesn't go as fast as multiple. Don't ask me for technical details.

I think your earlier point is valid. The interruption of the broadcast is irrelevant to the point that >>>this news station created a whole new "truth" about this incident by misreporting what went on.<<<

One of the best ways I used to get people to see the bias and lies in the MSM was to convince them to watch something on C-SPAN that would later be reported. They'd say, "But, but...that's not what happened!" and I'd just knowingly smile and say, "See...? Now do you believe me?" :-)

It's OK if you do not have enough interest to form an opinion.

What should be of interest is how a couple of the CBS anchors in the videos reported the story with carefully scripted tag words perhaps leading the story to something of what it was possibly not. One voiced "CLAIMS" more loudly, used hand gestures..and emphatic speech tones on the edge of sarcastic elitism?.

Typical of the news media, even though this is just a little affiliate of CBS..they were coned and didn't even realize it..still laughing at them reporting about the ACLU! Someone had to be laughing at the stations..not everyone could be that stone faced at CBS.

If I was the weatherman I would have been on the floor laughing also. Too bad people have forgotten how to laugh at themselves.

Yes, they would ask what news stations do you view and I would say FoxNews and C-SPAN..throws them from commenting. You can see the confusion.

It has been a couple of years since I tried Flashget, maybe it has improved. I did love the interface of it better than Getright to be honest, just I was having trouble getting it to connect to about 20% of the sites that getright didn't have any trouble with.

Thanks for your responce and perspective.
