As far as your comments on polygamy, I do not read that it was ever God's wish or primary desire that man have more than one wife. (He made them Adam and Eve, not Adam and Eves). He may have allowed polygamy to occur, as He did and does allow many other things that were/are ultimately hurtful or harmful to mankind (read that FREE WILL and HARDENED HEARTS), but that does not mean that it is or was His original plan (before the fall, when sin first occurred).
