My thought exactly LOL.
Conservative is as conservative does. I am not opposed to space travel but do the costs to taxpayers (can you say tax reform) outweigh the benefits?
These grandeous ideas are great but it takes money for,
SS reform, Tax reform, Iraq and other wars, Tsunami aid, foreign aid, space travel, leave no child behind, leave no adult behind, and all that is getting the economy behind.
Not to mention pork barrel spending.
Ah the good old days of conservative values. Can it be Bush is a moderate?

The key here is PRIVATE enterprise, which means it won't cost you a dime unless you invest into it, or utilize their services some day. I hope we privatize the whole thing, maybe that way we could start moving forward in our space exploration again. Their is nothing like the change of huge profits (incentives) to motivate people to break barriers and push the envelope.
