Anyone ever proposing boring holes in these volcanoes to start alleviating the pressure a LITTLE at a time

The earth is like a giant pressure cooker. We need a valve to let loose some heat.

Maybe we could go over there and chisel off chunks of Cumbre Vieja and drop them in the ocean one at a time. By the time it's ready to errupt, there won't be anything left to fall into the ocean.

Another thing we could do is wrap a huge mesh basket around it, attached to pullies. Then we could chop it off and lower it gently into the ocean with nary a spash.

Why not drop a few NUKES on the tidal wave before it hits the East Coast. I bet you the liberals would love that.

Here's another idea: We could put a bunch of mega-rockets under the south edge of Cumbre Vieja and blast it into an arc that would land it in the middle of the Nort Pole, where it wouldn't do any damage.

Ha ha ha

And, I guess there's a right way, and a wrong way... Who knew?
