Done any woodstove cookin?
That's kinda fun!
I mostly do stews and soups on top of the woodstove..
makes dandy toast, too!
Nothing better than something nice simmering on that old kitchen woodstove in winter...
Love the smell of woodsmoke, and the sound of the crackling fire, too..
I'm very lucky...

Elvis (unlike Al Gore) did not travel around with a bodyguard. He actually did some real soldiering. That was a time when men were real men, Al Gore is no man!

I picked up the "Mudboy" moniker in my college FRaternity, then added "Slim" in honor of Slim Whitman once I started to parody songs.

It was an excellent Christmas and stuff...at my parents' celebration, we had nine (9) grandkids fer the first time ever, ranging from 10 years to 10 months...it was all sorts of fun and just a harbinger of things to come.
