OReilly was very fair to Steve and ended the program appealing to any listeners that might have a job worthy of Steves qualifications to contact him via OReilly's website
To: traderrob6
That was a nice gesture of Mr O in helping Steve get a job.

That was nice of oreily......but it kinda sounds like he is sucking up to the Republican SWIFTY'S supporter base. We were a big force in this election and oreily might be seeing the writing on the wall to those who have opposed us........This is just my opinion.

I agree. I only wish he would have been that fair with the SVFT during the campaign
To: traderrob6
Whoa.... Deja vu, man. Was this a replay?
To: traderrob6
I seem to recall O'Reilly talking about the Swift Boat Vets' baloney.

Considering how he dissed Unfit For Command and the Swifties during the campaign this is but one very small step in a journey of public acknowlegement that O'reilly needs to make.

I think he was on Hannity a while back telling this story. Hope he gets a great job. What the heck in Millenium, his old job?

Millenium Information Services. Records management etc

Short story on Orielly:
Pandered to the left to try to expand his audience and convince America he was not a "ideologue".
Right started to diss him ever where (notably here)for being a pompous pandering jack***
Now he has to pander to the very people who got him where he was in the first place.
Maybe he learned his lesson. But for me I have no respect for those who are so opportunistic that they will forgo their co principals for ratings.

Take all the TV journalist and applying that standard.... leaves you with only Hume, Krauthammer, and maybe Barnes
To: traderrob6
For the record, O'Reilly is not a journalist.
He is a commentator.

DOBBS??? You mean the every show for 6 months prior to the election bemoaning the selling out of America thru outsourcing Dobbs??
To: traderrob6
Since when did O'Reilly start treating these guys with any respect?
To: rwfromkansas
He thinks he is the only objective force out there. Couldn't find an objective point in a paper bag if it didn't have ratings attached or an opportunity to hawk his show or sell a doormat.
He has been downsized here in tidewater to a hour before Savage on delay. The doormat of filling time.
