Does this one ever use a sentence without saying "here"?

I wonder what would happen if she auditioned for a role as a high-school girl out in Helliwood.

"Matronly", ....LOL....

For quite sometime, it's been clear to me that the weather channel has been pressuring the women to have a certain look, BUT NOT THE MEN. Some of the women are looking almost skeletal that used to be average in weight. As an older woman, I think this kind of thing is really, really wrong. I don't expect the meterologist to look like a train wreck, but I don't turn to the channel to see a "hottie" giving the weather. In my opinion, a lot of people will find their weather information in other places.

I miss Jill Brown, big time.

If Terry Connelly's switch was to sex up the weathercasts with hot babes, then why is Jim Cantore on every five minutes? I think the TWC ought to be re-named the Cantore Channel.

Alexandra Steele, though, IS HOT!!!

I watch the Weather Channel all the time. I read the articles. Storm Stories comes in first for my favourite program.

I can only think of how Cliff on "Cheers" was in love with the gal on the Weather Channel and kept writing her letters. Anybody remember that?

You can bet if she was at entry level... displacing an older person would not have bothered her in the least...

Quit...get a good recommendation and go someplace where you are appreciated... rather than forcing (suing) someone to keep you against their will...

imo

Her lawyer is going to have his work cut out for him to convince anyone in a court of law that a 42 year old woman was fired because of her "old age."

I probably would be fired because of old age---I'm 82.

There are an awful lot of other old standbys still around for this to have been the reason.

Wait a second.

The Weather Channel fired Marny? I didn't know that. Marny was a good meteorologist and she was easy on the eyes. It's Leisure Suit Larry Schwartz that is an embarrassment. I'm waiting for him to break out into a Joe Isuzu routine (There's going to be global warming, trust me) NO DOUBT HE WOULD FIND MY COMMENTS A COMPLIMENT.

Also, how can they fire her for her age? WC used the old geezer John Hope http://www.ngeorgia.com/people/hope.html worked until the year he died. HOPE WAS BORN 1919! Grandpa Moses had nothing on this man.

And speaking of John Hope (though I should not speak badly of the dead), how can you pay attention when you saw his gangly, chicken neck flashing while trying to watch the map? And that accent! Half the time I had no idea what he was saying because he sounded like the two headed space monsters on Sesame Street (Yup yup yup aha aha aha yup yup aha aha). How did remain on the Weather Channel? He founded the thing.

Marny fired is a travesty.
